After a few days of practice, Carver took off on his training wheel-less bike today. We just about rode holes in our side walk before heading over to a church parking lot to really test his skills. He did great and was more proud of himself than I've ever seen him. He grinned from ear to ear all afternoon. Although I think we probably did the same...G and I kept saying, "Can you believe this?!" Several weeks ago G promised him a new big boy bike whenever he learned to ride...and he certainly came through. We left the parking lot and headed straight to the bike shop...now he's a little nervous about the new one, but tomorrow's a new day and we're already planning our return trip to the parking lot!
She'd topple herself over and then pull herself up saying, "I ok, I don't need a band-aid"
or my favorite "what's the big idea, bike?"

LOVE the knee pads... how adorable... all padded up for the adventure!
That's so awesome...we can't wait to see Carver ride!
Sidenote: are Carver and Springer wearing matching outfits?
Micah, the outfits do match-Carver's idea. Not forced by me, I swear!
