Oak Bluffs

Oak Bluffs is home to The Tabernacle...a mid-1800's Methodist campground. Originally there was a meeting hall and tents surrounding it, but as families returned to the Vineyard year after year they began building gingerbread cottages in circles around The Tabernacle. These cottages, mostly built in the 1850's-1870's are still there, and occupied, today. It's an amazing site. The Tabernacle

No trip is complete without a ride on the Flying Horses. Carver grabbed the gold ring again-and won a second ride!

All worn out!

I totally forgot about "grabbing the brass ring" on that merry-go-round. Thanks for bringing back some great childhood memories, Carver.
